Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and bilingual Chinese-Speaking In-Home Caregiver / Aide to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for an elderly client living in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte (28277). Because communication and cultural comfort are vital to our client’s daily well-being, the ideal candidate must be fully fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese). Key Responsibilities Language & Companionship: Provide meaningful companionship, conversation, and emotional support in the client’s native language to prevent isolation. Morning Personal Care: Assist with daily activities of living (ADLs) including gentle assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and morning personal hygiene. Culturally Familiar Meal Prep: Prepare light, nutritious morning meals or snacks according to the client’s dietary needs and cultural preferences. Medication Reminders: Provide timely prompts to ensure morning medications are taken safely and on schedule. Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment (including wiping down surfaces, washing breakfast dishes, and tidying the immediate living area). Requirements & Qualifications Language Skills: Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is strictly required. Experience: Previous professional experience as a Caregiver, CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is highly preferred. Compliance: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a Current TB Test.
