• Do you diagnose before you replace—and double-check your work before you leave?
• Are you comfortable explaining repair options to homeowners without the hard sell?
• Have you serviced furnaces, central AC, heat pumps, air handlers, thermostats, and controls?
• Have you built your skills in residential service, light-commercial, facilities HVAC, or installation with service?

What you’ll do

• Perform maintenance and repair on residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Use electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to pinpoint issues and verify proper operation
• Educate homeowners on system performance and repair choices
• Document each visit, communicate clearly with customers and teammates, and keep your vehicle/work areas organized
• Prioritize accuracy, craftsmanship, and integrity—no high-pressure sales culture

Where you’ll work

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is expanding in the Greater Hartford area. We’re locally owned, veteran-owned, and backed by a trusted national brand—giving you both a tight-knit team and strong operational support.

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on HVAC service, troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair experience
• Residential background preferred; light-commercial and facilities experience welcome
• Curiosity, pride in your craft, and clear communication
• No management experience required—technical excellence first, leadership opportunities as we grow

What you’ll get

• $80,000–$100,000 per year, plus performance incentives and overtime opportunities
