The pediatrician provides comprehensive primary health care to health center patients in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Acts as primary health care provider within the scope of his/her primary care specialty (i.e., Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN).
