Job Description

Robert Half is working with a great team who is looking to bring on a Sr. Accountant to their team. The Senior Accountant will support month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis efforts while helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial results. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Perform and review intercompany transactions, including reconciliations and eliminations across multiple entities.
• Assist with consolidation of financial statements for domestic and international subsidiaries.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management regarding trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in process improvement initiatives.
• Support external and internal audits by providing schedules, documentation, and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or similar focus), CPA a plus.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
